Hi Patrick,
Thanks for picking up this message! This past weekend, I watched the Tim
Meadows special on SNL and wondered if you could clear up something for me
and/or send me the transcript from the skit "Weekend Update with Colin Quinn"
where Tim Meadows sings songs regarding "Kwanza" with two background singers.
Was one of the singers Vanessa Williams? The original show aired on 12/12/98
I believe.
Please e-mail me when you have a chance to find the answer. Thank you very
much.
P.S. I am not sure if you're heavily involved with the transcripts web site,
but it is wonderful!

Hi,
I've been trying to get a transcript of Samuel L. Jackson's monologue from
the 1/98 episode when he lists his New Year's resolutions and your site is
the only game in town. I want to use the transcript as part of my 30th
birthday speech on 9/23. If there is anyway you can get that to me I would
greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Jeffrey Lehr
Do you have Jesse Jackson reading Green Eggs & Ham? It probably would be
best to HEAR it if you happen to have it on tape.
Thanks

I have been told Michael Flatley was on SNL some years ago. Do you have
video or transcript? Chris Farley is famous for his LORD OF THE DANCE skit.
The tap dancing with the leather pants and the head band. Michael Flatley
is THE LORD OF THE DANCE. He also was in Riverdance.
Thank you for your help.

first one is "Night of the Moonies"; the rest are from the Tom Hanks and Tom
Petty episode from 1996:
The Ambiguously Gay Duo
Hey Remember The Eighties?
Weekend Update With Norm Mcdonald
Mr. Peepers
The Donner Party
This is my favorite episode and I don't have it on tape! Please help me out!
Sincerely,
Willie
I'm a big fan, mostly of Kevin N., and there's one sketch that I really enjoyed, but I don't
know where to find it. It's the one where he's talking about travelling, and how the road you
want to take "isn't on this map." He takes the map that he has, and tears the corners off of
it to make it look like Hawaii, and then, in the end he's talking about a fat lady using the
veins on her leg as a map to give someone directions, and she says "It's not on this leg."
Do you know the one I mean? If you have it, can you post it (if you haven't already) and if
you don't could you tell me where I could find it.
Loved your site, by the way. Thanks a lot.
Mike Allison
Can you please post all the "Simma Down Nah" sketches? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

I am an avid SNL watcher and the skit I love the most; you don't have! It is

Could you please transcript that for me? Your cooperation will be deeply
appreciated.

Hi There,
We have a few questions for you and a few requests to make. We're wondering
about how long it usually takes to post requested transcripts. Also, do you
know who writes specific scripts or is it a group effort of all the writers
on most of them? We are also requesting several, sorry about that.
Mr. Short-term Memory (88a & 89m)
Coffee Talk (91c, 91n, 92n, 92s, 93t)
Thank you very much. Your efforts are appreciated.

Hi,
I have been searching for the "baby Naming episode which appears on
your index.
My wife and I just had a new baby, and when we were going through the
naming process, I re-told the baby naming skit to her a hundred
times--but I could never capture the true wit of the episode. I
searched and searched the Internet for months, and FINALLY, found your
site.
Gary Green
Hi, My name is Gary,
Just saw your web page and you may be able to help me.
I watched a saturday night live sketch once and i think it was the show
with laura leighton. There was a sketch where they were all sitting at
a dinner table and there was this thing alled abrupt eruption. And the
guy just threw the table and swore.
I looked at your list and i think it might be that thing called Home
For The Holidays in episode 95f. I was wondering if it was in this
episode as i would really love to get a hold of this sketch. I laughed
my arse off at it. Its become legendary since ive told my mates about
it and they havent seen the actual sketch.
I dont know if there is any way you could help but your the closest
ive come to finding it. When you say youd gladly transcribe any skitch
does that mean put in into mpg video or something.
Any thing would be helpful. Even if you could check that episode and
tell me if i have the right episode for that skitch.
THANKYOU MUCHLY
Gary Lupano
Hello Pat:
During the olympics I remembered an old skit with Harry shearer and
Martin short where they did a 10-15 minute skit about synchronized
swimming. Is it currently available on any of the saturday night live
videos that you can rent? The 25 anniversary edition had a short 15-30
second clip of it but I want the entire thing. What would you suggest? I'd appreciate any suggestions you might have. Thanks, Dave
Hello Sir,
Good morning/afternoon/evening, I am sending this to you in an attempt

Hello Patrick,
Last night's SNL was hosted by Kate Hudson and the musical guest was
Radiohead. There was a sketch near the end involving Tracey Morgan. He
was a homeless man, who brought Kate Hudson into the sewer and sang a
hilarious song with her. If you could get me a transcript of this
sketch, it would be greatly appreciated (mainly the song... it's
freaking HILARIOUS).
Adam

I'm looking for a transcript of the skit "Who's More Grizzled?", all I know is Garth Brooks hosted and I think it was in 1997.
I couldn't find it on your site, but I was hoping you could direct me to a site that might have it?
Thanks!
john
Hi Patrick!
Greetings from Canada.
First, might I say great work on the site; it's a testament of your devotion and hard work.
Second, you being the oracle of all things SNL... I would ask a question, if you please:
There was a skit this year (I thought it was the Christopher Walken episode but I think I am mistaken), in which Willem Dafoe appeared. The premise of the skit was that you could get songs implanted in your head such that they would generate a certain mood. It has been driving me crazy that I can't find any info on it.
If you could tell me
a) what episode it appeared on,
b) what it was called, and/or
c) what song was playing in Willem Dafoe's head (Everybody's Working for the Weekend???? or some other 80's-ish song),
I would be in your debt for life.
Thanks in advance,
Colin Massicotte
i just want to say i love you site!!!
and also i have a request for a few wayne's world transcripts, and also more from the dana carvey, chris farley ("VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER" if you have it) david spade, mike myers and adam sandler era (90-92), thanks
SNL FAN
hey Patrick,
I guess ur as much of an SNL fanatic as I am because I'm also building an SNL video collection from
1986-1995. I recorded most of the episodes from Comedy Central, but you probably know that Comedy Central doesn't show the entire episode. Luckily, during this summer, NBC was airing classic from the 92-93 season at late nite. But I think that you have much more episodes than me. However, I still have 14 cassettes filled with great episodes!
so you like the 70's SNL. Now I know that original cast should gain more credit for beginning the show, but you'll have to admit, The Phil Hartman-G.E. Smith era was far more creative and funnier than the original cast. It was all due to Phil Hartman, Dana Carvey, and Kevin Nealon that the show survived.
I was wondering if you could please find the adam sandler skit where he is the halloween costume expert. I know he did it on weekend update with kevin nealon if that helps at all. Thank you,
Jon England
hi,
I'm hoping that you can help me. I'm looking for a skit that Bill Murray did on SNL I'm guessing sometime in the late 80's or very early 90's call "That White Guy"....If there is anyway you can get in touch with me with any info on this skit (ie which season is aired in, who hosted the show, how I could get a copy of it...etc) I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks for your time
Sincerely,
Kate
Please get the sketch with John Lovitz and Kevin Nealon where
they are trying to pick up girls on the street and are unsuccessful.
Thank you.
Mark Quinlan
I remember a skit with Tina Turner and Martin Short (as Ed Grimley) that I almost died I laughed so hard. Does this ring a bell with you?
Thanks a gazillion!
