CBS Evening News

Katie Couric…..Amy Poehler
Sarah Palin…..Tina Fey

[ open on “CBS Evening News” logo ]

Announcer: And now, part 4 of Katie Couric’s interview with Alaska governor Sarah Palin.

[ dissolve to Sarah Palin and Katie Couric seated across from one another on interview set ]

Katie Couric: Gov. Palin, thank you for agreeing to talk with me one more time.

Gov. Sarah Palin: Oh, hey… you know… sure!

Katie Couric: [ blinking massively ] Did you enjoy your week in New York City?

Gov. Sarah Palin: You know, Katie, I did, and I wasn’t sure I would, at first. New York is, of course, home to the Liberal media elite, but Todd and the kids had a great time going to the Central Park and the, and the F.A.O. Schwartz, and that kooky evolution museum!

Katie Couric: So, it sounds like the trip was a success?

Gov. Sarah Palin: There were some funny moments! For instance, I had fifteen or twenty false alarms where I thought I saw Osama bin Laden driving a taxi! And I was embarrassed to be wrong, but, mostly, I was disappointed I wasn’t right! Also, in an area to bone up on foreign policy, I went to the Times Square area to see a film called “The Bush Doctrine” — it was NOT about politics!

Katie Couric: You went to the UN for the first time. How was that experience?

Gov. Sarah Palin: Oh, you know, it was just amazing, so many interesting people, though, I have to say, I was disheartened by how many of them were foreignors! I can promise that, when Sen. McCain and I are elected, we’re gonna get those jobs back in American hands!

Katie Couric: [ stunned into quiet confusion ] How did the world leaders you met… react to you?

Gov. Sarah Palin: They embraced me, Katie! Figuratively and — a couple of those Pakistani guys — literally. [ show footage of Palin shaking hands with various foreign leaders ] But they were all so welcoming. Be it from Hamid Karzai, the President of Afghanistan; Jalal Talabani, the President of Iraq; or Bono, the King of Ireland!

Katie Couric: On foreign policy, I want to give you… one more chance… to explain your claim that you have foreign policy experience, based on Alaska’s proximity to Russia. What did you mean by that?

Gov. Sarah Palin: Well, Alaska and Russia are only separated by a narrow maritime border. [ she holds up her hands ] You’ve got Alaska here, and this right here is water, and, then, that up there is Russia. So we keep an eye on them.

Katie Couric: And how do you do that, exactly?

Gov. Sarah Palin: Every morning, when Alaskans wake up, one of the first things they do is look outside and see if there are any Russians hanging around. If there are, you gotta go up to them and ask, “What are ya’ doing here?” And if they give you a good reason — they can’t — then, it’s our responsibility to say, you know, “Shoo! Get back over there!”

Katie Couric: Sen. McCain shut down his campaign this week, in order to deal with the economic crisis. What’s your opinion of this potential $700 billion bailout?

Gov. Sarah Palin: Like every American I’m speaking with, we are ill about this! We’re saying, “Hey! Why bail out Fannie and Freddie, and not me?” But ultimately, what the bailout does is help those that are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up our economy. To help, um — it’s gotta be about job creation, too. Also, about shoring up our economy, and putting Fannie and Freddie back on the right track. And, so, health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending, ’cause, Barack Obama, you know? You know, we’ve got to accompany tax reduction, and tax relief for Americans. Also, having a dollar value meal at restaurants — that’s gonna help. But, one in five jobs being created today, under the umbrella of job creation. That, you know, also>.

Katie Couric: [ shaking her head ] What lessons have you learned from Iraq, and how, specifically, would you spread democracy abroad?

Gov. Sarah Palin: Specifically, we would make every effort possible to spread democracy abroad to those who want it!

Katie Couric: Yes, but, specifically, what would you do?

Gov. Sarah Palin: We’re gonna promote freedom, usher in democratic values and ideals, and fight terror-loving terrorists.

Katie Couric: But, again — and, not to belabor the point — one specific thing?

Gov. Sarah Palin: [ after an extended silence ] Katie, I’d like to use one of my lifelines!

Katie Couric: I’m sorry?

Gov. Sarah Palin: I want to phone a friend!

Katie Couric: You don’t have any lifelines.

Gov. Sarah Palin: Well, in that case, I’m just gonna have to get back to ya’!

Forgive me, Mrs. Palin, but it seems to me that, when cornered, you become increasingly adorable. Is that fair to say?

Gov. Sarah Palin: [ in a cutesy-pie manner ] I don’t know, is it? [ she fires her fingers like pistols ]

Katie Couric: Gov. Palin, is there anything else you’d like to say, other than “Live, from New York, it’s Saturday Night”?

Gov. Sarah Palin: Yes — “Live, from New York, it’s Saturday Niiiiight”!

Rowboat Date

Mary…..Anna Faris
Mike/Darren…..Kenan Thompson

[ open on a couple floating in a rowboat in the middle of the lake on a dark night ]

Mary: [ sighs ] Oh. What a romantic evening. This might be the best first date of my life!

Mike: Yeah, yeah, yeah, fo’ sho. It’s real nice.

Mary: Mike?

Mike: [ caught off guard ] Huh? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah — it’s my name — Mike.

Mary: I am so happy that I met you!

Mike: [ nods condescendingly ] Yeah, me, too. It’s all good.

Mary: Mike?

Mike: [ caught off guard again ] Yeah, yeah, yeah — I’m Mike.

Mary: I haven’t been totally honest with you. I didn’t dump my last boyfriend. He was arrested. It turned out he was a lawyer for drug deals.

Mike: [ with mock surprise ] Oh, my good-ness! That’s cra-zy!

Mary: Yes. And, as they dragged him away, the last thing he said was, “Mary, your life is in danger! People are going to be out to get you because of what you know! Don’t trust ANYBODY!” [ she smiles ] So, you can imagine how happy I was when a handsome stranger Facebooked me out of nowhere, and asked me to go out on a date in the middle of a lake!

Mike: Yeah. Life is CRAZY like that!

Mary: Yes! It IS crazy like that!

[ music pots up, as she breaks into song ]

Mary:
“How did I meet this guy?
How did I get so lucky?
Hey, Mr. Perfect Time
I swear he’s my knight in shining armour!
He makes me smile, he makes me laugh!
His arms are so strong, he could break me in half!
How did I meet this guy?
How did I get so lucky?”

[ on the other side of the boat, Mike breaks into song as well ]

Mike:
“I gotta KILL this lady!
Ideally, within the NEXT half-hour!
Then I can drive back home
And catch the end of Monday Night Football
I feel kinda bad, ’cause she seems really nice
But such is the life of a professional hit man!
I gotta KILL this lady!
And then catch Monday Night Football.”

[ music fades ]

Mary: Mike? I know it’s only our first date, but… I feel like we’re soul mates.

Mike: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah — that’s true. That’s true. We have many similarities.

Mary: Yeah, we both love “Gossip Girl” —

Mike: Yeah, “Gossip Girl” — she’s always gossipin’.

Mary: We listen to John Mayer —

Mike: Yeah, yeah — we BOTH know who HE is.

Mary: And… you’re the only person I know who loves “The Notebook” more than I do.

Mike: LOVE me some “Notebook”!

Mary: Sometimes I think you just copied my Facebook profile! [ she chuckles ]

Mike: [ he chuckles uncomfortably ] So, uh — this ex-boyfriend of yours. He didn’t say anything about computer discs, did he?

Mary: Yeah, he did. Right before he got arrested, he gave some to me and he said, “Guard these with your life!” Isn’t that crazy?

Mike: It IS cra-zy! So… where do you keep these discs?

Mary: [ coyly ] Oh, I can’t tell you all of my secrets! [ she chuckles ]

[ he chuckles with malign ]

[ music pots up again, as they break into song together ]

Mary:
“I guess this proves Mom wrongI do have super good taste in boyfriends.”

Mike:
“This is my all-time easiest job! This girl has super bad taste in boyfriends!”

Mary:
“I love the way his eyes dart about
As if he’s afraid that someone will see us.”

[ simultaneously: ]

Mary: “How did I meet this guy?”

Mike: “I gotta KILL this girl!”

Mary: “How did I get so lucky?”

Mike: “It’s a shame that she’s such a dum-my.”

[ music fades ]

Mary: I feel like I can tell you anything.

Mike: Well, then… where are the discs?

Mary: They’re right here. [ she holds up two computer discs ]

Mike: Have you shown those to anyone else?

Mary: No. [ she smiles ] Just my man. Just my wonderful man!

Mike: [ smiles slyly ] Well, that’s good! Yeah, that’s real good!

[ music pots up again, as she breaks into song ]

Mary:
“I’m starting to get a bad feeling
That this is a man who’s been paid to kill me.
I bet his name isn’t Mike
Which is why he’s confused when I say Mike.
I should have suspected that something was wrong
When the boat ws chained up and he shot the lock off.
Why did I trust this guy?
Why am I such a dum-my?”

[ music fades ]

Mike: You’re right. My name’s not Mike.

Mary: How did you know I was thinking that?

Mike: Well, you’ve been singing out loud.

Mary: So, are — are you gonna kill me?

Mike: No. I-I-I-I can’t do it. I lost my nerve.

Mary: [ smiling ] Is it because we’re soul mates?

Mike: No, no, no. I just gotta get out of this lake. I just remembered I can’t swim.

Mary: I’ll paddle, Mike.

Mike: Well, it’s… Darren.

[ music pots up again, as they break into song together ]

[ simultaneously: ]

Mary: “I’m gonna have sex with this guy!”

Mike: “I’m gonna have sex with this girl!”

Together: “How did I get so lucky?”

[ camera pans out to studio wide shot, and fades ]

Weekend Update with Amy Poehler & Seth Meyers

…..Seth Meyers
…..Amy Poehler
Bill Clinton…..Darrell Hammond
Judy Grimes…..Kristen Wiig

Announcer: “Weekend Update with Amy Poehler & Seth Meyers.”

Seth Meyers: Good evening. I’m Seth Meyers.

Amy Poehler: I’m Amy Poehler. Here are tonight’s top stories:

With the nation facing a historic financial crisis, President Bush, on Thursday, convened the summit that included John McCain, Barack Obama, and senior members of Congress. Afterwards, their efforts were commemorated with this banner: [ McCain, Bush, Barack stand in front of a “Nothing Accomplished” banner ]

Critics of the bailout plan say it will save Wall Street, while it would do virtually nothing to help out Main Street. And, as always, you’re on your own, Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Seth Meyers: Treasury Secretary Henry Paulsen said that the proposed bailout plan will cost taxpayers $700 billion. To give you an idea of how much money that is, I CAN’T give you an idea of how much money that is.

The first Presidential debate took place last night, and, earlier in the week, Barack Obama said that he would be at the debate whether John McCain showed up or not. Marking the first time in history the Black man was more eager to go to Mississippi than a White one.

Amy Poehler: Police in West Virginia charged a man with one count of battery, after he passed gas at one of the officers. Meaning the Supreme Court may have to revisit the landmark case of Smelt It v. Dealt It.

Seth Meyers: v. Dealt It?

Amy Poehler: v. Dealt It!

Seth Meyers: As the election approaches, both candidates have been relying more and more on the support of their party leaders. Here to comment on the race is one such leader — the 42nd President of the United States, President Bill Clinton.

Bill Clinton: Thank you, Seth… and thank you, Amy… and, most especially, thank you, Duffy. [ the audience cheers ] I’m here tonight because our nation is in the midst of a great crisis. People ask me who can propel American out of this economic freefall, and put us back on track. And I tell them… “Brack Obama is the only… Democratic nominee for President.”

Seth Meyers: That — that doesn’t exactly sound like a ringing endorsement.

Bill Clinton: [ scoffs ] I don’t think I can be any more clearer.I belong to the Democratic Party. Barack Obama’s also in the Democratic Party. And I’m not a party wrecker. I love parties! A lot of times, I show up at a party and people say, “Maaaan, this party was BEAT, ’til you got here!” Yesterday, I asked somebody, “Hey? Do you party?” You can see where my support lies.

Seth Meyers: Mmm-hmm. So — [ he laughs ] you support Barack Obama for President of the United States?

Bill Clinton: [ he guffaws ] Let me just lay it out! I… support… Barack… Obama… is something I’ve heard from people all over this country. What this country needs is change. Come January, we cannot… have… the same… president.

Seth Meyers: Well, of course we can’t have the same president. It would be a change whether it’s Obama or McCain.

Bill Clinton: [ grabs his head ] That’s true! I didn’t even THINK about that! That is a GREAT point! John McCain would also be a change! But, look, I’m not here to bash John McCain.

Seth Meyers: Well, you haven’t been…

Bill Clinton: That’s right. I’m not gonna trsh John McCain just because he’s a Republican, or a war hero, or a great friend who’s hilarious and cool. I will not. I will not. I, for one, respect those things. Still, there are many things we disagree on. For instance, Sen. McCain likes the show “C.S.I.” Whereas, I love… “Californication”.

Seth Meyers: Well, there might be qualities about John McCain you respect, but do you honestly believe that Gov. Sarah Palin is prepared to be Vice-President?

Bill Clinton: Look… sometimes women will be uncomfortable doing something at first… [ extended cheers and applause from the audience ] I have found, with enough persuasion… they will come around.

Seth Meyers: I’m sorry… I’m still a little confused. It almost sounds like you’re endorsing the McCain-Palin ticket.

Bill Clinton: Oh, Seth. I’m gonna say this one more time: There is only one man for this job. [ he stops ]

Seth Meyers: And?

Bill Clinton: And… watch “Californication”! The sex scenes are so real, that that guy had to go to sex rehab!

Seth Meyers: President Bill Clinton, everyone!

Amy Poehler: A farmer in Ohio has carved a corn maze in his field in the likeness of Sarah Palin. The way it works is: you enter the maze, and then suddenly realzie you’re in way over your head.

Seth Meyers: Animal rights group PETA is urging Ben & Jerry’s to replace the milk they use in their ice cream with human breast milk. After which, Ben & Jerry’s introduced their new flavor: Chocolate Mint — ’cause they’re NOT gonna use breast milk!

Nearly 300 tow trucks participated Sunday in a parade through New York, in an attempt to break a record. The record? Least Gay Parade.

Amy Poehler: A Japanese artist is creating tree huts in New York’s Madison Square Park, which resemble children’s treehouses and are meant for thinking, dreaming, and remembering… but will be used for sleeping, urinating, and masturbating.

Seth Meyers: Sunday’s 60th Prime Time Emmy Awards were hosted by the five reality show nominees, in an apparent attempt to make us hate television.

Amy Poehler: Now, we all know it’s no secret that recent economic woes have had a serious effect on the travel industry. In order to recoup losses, most airlines are implementing checked bag fees and gasoline surcharges. Here to discuss this trend, once again, is travel writer Judy Grimes.

Judy Grimes: [ in a high-pitched voice ] Hiiiiiiii!! Just kidding, I don’t say “Hi” like that, I say “Hi” like this: [ low-pitched ] Hiii! Just kidding, that was a little more normal than I say it. “Hi!” That’s how I say it, that’s how I say it — just kidding!

Amy Poehler: Hi, Judy. Uh — now, Judy, last time you were here, you let your nerves get the best of you. And, I have to say, you still sound pretty nervous. You sure you’re ready to do thid?

Judy Grimes: [ nervously ] Mmm-hmm…

Amy Poehler: Okay! Great! Judy, what do you think about the airlines charging $50 for checked bags? I mean, is there a way a person can travel without spending a fortune?

Judy Grimes: [ rapid-fire ] Actually, there’s a few ways — just kidding, there’s only one way — just kidding, I don’t know how many ways there are — just kidding, I do, there’s eight — just kidding, there’s eighteen, I counted them — just kidding, my friend did and she never lies — just kidding, she lied once, but I wasn’t there — just kidding, we’re not really friends, we work together — just kidding, I work by myself — just kidding, I work out by myself — just kidding, I don’t work out, ’cause I kicked out of my gym — just kidding, it closed — just kidding!

Amy Poehler: Judy, I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say maybe you’re still a little too nervous.

Judy Grimes: Mmm-hmm — just kidding.

Amy Poehler: Well, maybe — you know, you can come back another time.

Judy Grimes: [ rapid-fire ] I’m fine. Besides, I… can’t come back another time because I’m too busy — just kidding, I’m not busy — just kidding, I am but I don’t have any time for you — just kidding, I don’t know how to make time — just kidding, but I know how to make pies — just kidding, I don’t — just kidding, I do, and I’ll make one right now — just kidding, I can’t, because I don’t have a pan — just kidding, I do, but I gotta buy sugar — just kidding, I have what I need, but I don’t have a stove — just kidding, there’s a stove under here, it’s hot — ouch! — just kidding, there’s no stove under here, there’s one at my house, let’s go there right now — just kidding, we can’t all go together, it’s hard to travel in a group — just kidding, we can’t do it because my car’s not big enough — just kidding, we’re in right now, this whole studio’s my car — just kidding, it isn’t — just kidding, it is — beep, beep! Get out of my way! — just kidding, we’re not in my car — just kidding, I wrecked my car — just kidding, I ran into a tree — just kidding, it was a bush — just kidding, it was a man, he was very upset — just kidding, he laughed — just kidding, he died — just kidding, it was a dream — just kidding, it wasn’t a dream, it was a movie I rented — just kidding, I bought it, and now I regret it, it wasn’t very good — just kidding, it was okay — just kidding!

Amy Poehler: Wow, thank you. Once again, thanks for nothing, Judy.

Judy Grimes: [ rapid-fire ] My name’s not Judy, it’s Nudy — just kidding, that’s dumb — just kidding, it’s smart — just kidding, it’s not really anything, but, just for the record, my name is actually Julie, you’ve always said it wrong, I didn’t say anything — just kidding, I did but nobody listened — just kidding, they did — just kidding — just kidding!

Amy Poehler: Judy Grimes, everybody. Judy Grimes.

Seth Meyers: Police in Portland, Oregon told a woman who was skating nude to stop after construction workers complained. Which raises the question: What in God’s name has happened to construction workers?

A New Jersey man is suing two men for allegedly using Facebook to organize an attack on him at a bar. By the time police arrived, the man had been super-poked beyond recognition.

Amy Poehler: Scientists reported this week that a newly-discovered chicken-sized dinosaur that lived in North America survived by eating termites. The scientists arrived at this conclusion using a technique they call Guessing.

A man in New York State pleaded guilty to public lewdness this week, after he took his pants off before going into a donut shop. The man said he only did it so he could carry mroe donuts.

Seth Meyers: For “Weekend Update”, I’m Seth Meyers.

Amy Poehler: I’m Amy Poehler!

Announcer: It’s The Cougar Den with Deidre Nicks, Toni Ward And Jacqueline Seka.

All Three: Woo!, yeah!

[Music fades, they sit down on a couch]

Deidre: [deep voice] I love that song! Oh, wow! Hey there! Welcome to the Cougar Den. I’m Deidre and to my left is one of my best friends since I was 40, Jacqueline. And next to her is Toni. Toni, you look great.

Toni: [deep voice] I feel great.

Jacqueline: [deep voice] You look great too, Deidre.

[The threesome have deep voices]

Deidre: Really? I feel like my spray tan is too orangey.

Toni: No, its not a bad orangey.

Jacqueline: No, its orangey in a really great way.

Deidre: Oh, you guys are the best. So what did you do this weekend?

Jacqueline: I took my boyfriend Kobe to see “The Ruins” for his 22nd birthday.

Toni: I think we know what you did afterwards.

Jacqueline: Afterwards? Try during.

Deidre: You are one hot cougar, friend.

Jacqueline: Then later, I gave him a blow joy on my wicker fan chair.

Toni: Joy?

Jacqueline: Well, its certainly not a job.

Deidre: Ladies, Boniva break.

Toni: Oh, Boniva.

Jacqueline: [raises glass]To Sally Field.

Toni: [raises glass] And to strong bones

Deidre: Hear, hear.

[Deidre gives the pills to her cougar friends. They chase them down with some red liquor from their cocktail glasses]

Deidre: Oh, that’s tart.

Jacqueline: That’s very,very tart.

Toni: Why is this drink so tart?

Deidre: Kenneth, Kenneth? Why is this drink so tart?

[Kenneth is the show’s director. He’s an old black man wearing a headset mic, clipboard]

Kenneth: [angry] It’s a Tartini! Tartini’s are tart![turns his back]

Jacqueline and Toni: Thanks, Kenneth.

Deidre: Our first guest has written a book about the cougar lifestyle. Please welcome, Kiki Deamore.

Toni: Oh, Kiki.

[Kiki is a cougar with dirty blond hair, a big ass and wearing a feline tight-suit. Gloria Estefan’s “Rhythm is gonna get you” plays. The three cougar women dance with some difficulty and Kiki moves around provocatively]

Kiki: [Spanish accent] Well, chicas! Hola!

[Music fades. They all sit down]

Deidre: Oh, I’m tired. That wore me out, that wore me out. Kiki, you look great. Tell us about your new book.

Kiki: Its called “Pounce on it”.[holds book up] Its the older lady’s guide to bagging the younger mens.

Toni: That book is a gift.

Deidre: It is, it is. What made you write it?

Kiki: Well, I absolutely love…bagging…the younger mens.

Deidre: Absolutely. That’s why we’re cougars.

Kiki: I love to make them purrrrrr! But there are a lot of clueless ladies that don’t have the game. So I broke it down into 3 easy steps. OK. Step one: lighting. Ladies, stay away from the lights! Steer clear. Don’t even get into it!

Jacqueline: Don’t I know it.

Toni: Ladies, every light in my house has a silk scarf over it.

Kiki: Dos, a-two. Hit the bars at closing time. Or what I like to call “open season”.

Jacqueline: I met my current boyfriend at 1:50 a.m. at Bennigans. I drove him to his dorm and we’ve been together ever since.

Kiki: Someone has read the book! Ok! And last and this is muy importante. Be direct.

Deidre: You know, that’s what I do. I just walk up and say “Look, its not gonna be as gross as you think”.

Jacqueline: Keigel break!

Toni: Oh, Keigels.

[They all bounce lightly while sitting]

Toni: Kenneth, are you doing your Keigels?

Kenneth: [fed-up] Why? Why would I be doing Keigel exercises? You dusty old bags of stuff.

Deidre: So Kiki, I heard you brought your new boy biscuit.

Kiki: This is right! He was my tennis coach. And now, he is my little cougar cub.

Deidre: Bring him out. Please welcome, Jaden, everyone.

[Jaden is a twenty-something guy. He wears tennis shorts and shirt, bandanna. Kiki is all over him]

Kiki: Oh, Jaden![hugs him] He is so good! He is so good to me baby!

Deidre: Jaden, what is it like to date an older woman?

[Kiki hugs him fiercely. He pulls back a little]

Jaden: I love it.

Toni: We can see that.

Jacqueline: You guys can’t keep your hands off one another.

Deidre: So, what’s the attraction? The sex?

Jaden: Well, there’s so many reasons I prefer older women. Um, they usually have tricked out kitchens and sometimes they got those doughnut makers. Those are good. And, uh, the ex-husbands have been pretty cool so far, so.

Jacqueline: What else? Are they more satisfying sexually?

Jaden: Umm, let me see, umm, I also like how you can be all mean to them and they still buy you junk.[holds up a watch]

Deidre: Anything about how hot they are?

Jaden: Well, they’re kinda like your favorite pair of shoes.

Toni: Like a really sexy pair?

Jaden: No. Like a real comfortable worn-out pair.[to Kiki] What do you think, babe?

Kiki: Well, you guys have seen that he’s so cute! Isn’t he so cute? But beware! I’m marking my territory.[into Jaden’s ear] Let me hear you purr! Come on baby, purr! Come one, purr! Come on baby, purr! Purr!, purr!

Jaden: [not very convincing purrs] P-p-p-p-u-u-u-urr…

Deidre: Wow, that is good purring. Great purring. Cougar to cougar, you look great together. That’s all that matters, Kiki.

Jacqueline: Jaden and Kiki….

Toni: Together forever.

Jacqueline: Great.

Jaden: Actually, I don’t even think you guys are cougars.

Toni: I like that.

Jacqueline: Thank you.

Jaden: No, no, no. You’re more like….

Kenneth: Mountain goats?

[Silence and looks back and forth between Kenneth and the Cougar Den]

Deidre: Join us next year when we’re going to be doing our annual Barbara Hershey tribute.

Toni: Oh, I saw her down the street!

Jacqueline: How did she look?

Toni: Worried.

Jacqueline: Until next time we’ll be waiting for you on The Cougar Den.

[Santana’s “Smooth” plays. They get up and dance again with some difficulty.]

Clementine….Andy Samberg

[Opens with a terrible early 80’s video production. A guy with a bad perm of curly red hair is sitting in his apartment playing a Casio synthesizer. He plays a sorry, lame electronic beat]

Clementine: [sings horribly] Daiquiri Girl, you’re my entire world…Daiquiri Groove, gonna make you move….

[All throughout the video Clementine and the Daiquiri girl with long curly red hair dance pathetically around the apartment holding Margarita glasses with red daiquiri in them, they toast. She occasionally blows kisses to the camera. Special effects are color faded split screens, weird angles and close-ups. Sometimes animated daiquiris appear, one in each corner of the screen]

Clementine: [sings] Daiquiri Girl, you’re made out of daiquiri, when I first met you you were not a daiquiri, then you went and had a scientific discovery….one part rum, two parts ice, three parts love, you are so nice…

[Caption words scroll up the screen]

Caption: We at Digital Shorts would like to apologize for this video. We pride ourselves on making quality work and recognize that this one’s just not up to par. In our defense we had a whole other video lined up with a famous musical act, but they bailed at the last minute. So we did what anyone would do in that situation. We got drunk.

Clementine: [sings] Daiquiri Girl, you are freaky, Daiquiri Dreams and I love you-u-u-u….

Caption: You know what though? Have you been watching this? It actually might be pretty good.

Clementine: [sings] I love you so much, drib, di, di, di, di, di, di-i–i-i-i-i, bleeop!

Caption: Nope. Still terrible.

Caption: But, you know what’s cool about working for SNL? The top brass here really “get it”. They don’t care if you fail, as long as you gave it your best effort. They certainly wouldn’t fire you for something that’s not your fault. Like if the stars of your video never showed up even though you had a verbal agreement, Gnarls Barkley. Once again, our deepest apologies. Please, enjoy the rest of “Daiquiri Girl”.

Clementine: [sings with arms up in the air] Daiquiri Girl, Daiquiri Girl, Daiquiri Girl, Daiquiri Girl, oh,oh,oh,oh, o-o-o-o-o-o-o-oh!

Dusty Velvet

Jason…..Jason Sudeikis
Will…..Will Forte
Bruce…..Kenan Thompson
Andy…..Andy Samberg
Emcee…..Ashton Kutcher
Dusty Velvet…..Casey Wilson

[ open on exterior, Rusty Pony Exotic Lounge ]

[ dissolve to interior, lounge, as a group of four men sit at tow tables closest to the stage ]

Jason: [ into his cell phone ] Yeah, yeah, honey — no, no — the meeting went GREAT! Yeah, we’re just, uh — we’re just grabbing a bite at TGIFriday’s. Yeah. Yeah. Then, straight to bed. Okay, good night. [ hangs up his cell phone, drops it on the table, then turns to his buddies ] Alright, let’s do it up!

[ the buddies get excited ]

Andy: Hey, Bruce, how did you find this place?

Bruce: That weird bellman outside the motel told me about it.

Andy: [ frowns ] That guy’s not a bellman — that’s a homeless dude.

Bruce: Well… no cover, though. Right, guys?

[ the buddies relunctantly agree with Bruce’s theory, as a Waitress approaches with a trayful of shots ]

Waitress: Four shots of Jaeger?

Buddies: [ grabbing their shots ] Alright… yeah… whoo-hoo-oo!!

[ they toast their shots, as the house lights go up and the Emcee takes the stage ]

Emcee: Alright, alright, alri-i-i-i-i-i-ighhhhht!! Welcome to the Rusty Pony, where it’s nothin’ but horseplay! I am your host, Donnie LaMorris, how’s everybody doin’ tonight, huh? [ looks at the buddies ] Gentlemen?

[ the buddies whoop and hollar with excitement ]

Emcee: That’s good, ‘cuz we’ve got such a SWEET piece of cabbage comin’ out here in just a sec — someone so sensational, so erotic, Strip Club magazine gave her four poles! Put your hands together for Miss… Dusty… Velvet!

[ the crowd cheers as the curtains reveal Dusty Velvet sitting at the back of the stage ]

Dusty Velvet: Thank you, thank you!

[ the Emcee stands behind Dusty ]

Dusty Velvet: Before I begin, I just want to thank Donnie for all his love and support these last few months. Y’all, the rumors are tru-u-ue — I was involved in a freak Tilt-a-Whirl accident, rendering me completely paralyzed from the neck down. But that will NOT paralyze my spirit.

[ cut to a close-up of the buddies at the table below, nonplussed by this announcement ]

Andy: What?

Bruce: Did she say “paralyzed”?

Dusty Velvet: I will not let that recent accident define me! I will continue to do what I do best, which is dance erotically. Now, Donnie’s gonna give me a hand up here, but, y’all, you won’t even notice him! Okay? [ she sticks out her tongue and moans for the Emcee to remove her gum; he obliges and throws it away ] Here we go!

[ Irene Cara’s “Flashdance… What A Feeling” begins to play ]

[ the Emcee slowly lifts Dusty’s head, then proceeds to rotate it counter-clockwise as Dusty moans and spastically wags her tongue ]

Dusty Velvet: Sens-u-al!

[ the Emcee lifts Dusty’s arms one at a time, catching her gloved finger in her mouth ]

Dusty Velvet: Uh-oh!

[ the Emcee attempts to separate the glove from Dusty’s mouth, even pushing her head back to allow extra pull. When this fails, he quickly rolls her glove off her arm and lets it dangle from her mouth. ]

Dusty Velvet: Yeah! Yeah! Oh, yeah!

[ the Emcee grabs Dusty’s head in his hands and begins to thrust in back and forth ]

Dusty Velvet: Yeah! Here we go, now we’re gettin’ started!

[ Dusty’s dangling glove flies out of her mouth ]

[ cut to the buddies at the table below, who are all horrified at this sight ]

[ the Emcee lifts Dusty and drags her limp body across the stage in as erotic a manner as he can muster ]

Dusty Velvet: Oohh..! Ooh..! Whoa..! Whoa..! Ooh, you like this..! Uh-oh..!

[ the Emcee lurches Dusty forward and dangles her arms at a frantic pace ]

Dusty Velvet: Ohhh… ohhh… uh-oh..!

[ the Emcee Dusty back up, places each of her hands over each of her breasts, then proceeds to make her paw herself frantically ]

Dusty Velvet: This is sex-u-al and e-rot-ic! [ to the buddies ] Y’all want to be together..?

[ the Emcee bends Dusty to her side and makes her spank herself with a frantic motion ]

Dusty Velvet: Uh-oh..! Uh-oh..!

[ Dusty’s tongue begins to flicker spastically ]

[ the Emcee holds her up straight ]

Dusty Velvet: I’m goin’ to the POLE, y’all! I’m goin’ to the pole!

[ the Emcee holds Dusty upright and twists her around the pole as her tongue flickers at it ]

Dusty Velvet: Ooh..! Uh-oh..! Uh-oh..!

[ the Emcee slides Dusty up and down along the pole, then sits her down upon the stage ]

Emcee: You ready, fellas? Here comes the good stuff.

Dusty Velvet: I’m gonna take it all off!

[ the Emcee tears the buttons off her workshirt, revealing part of her studded lingerie underneath ]

Dusty Velvet: Ohhh!

[ the buddies continue to be stunned at this sight ]

[ onstage, the Emcee struggles to pull Dusty’s workshirt completely off ]

Emcee: Babe, what, did you gain some weight here, or something?

Dusty Velvet: Leave it! Just leave it! Leave it!

Emcee: Alright, alright, alright!!

Dusty Velvet: Keep it going!

[ the Emcee struggles to lift Dusty off the floor ]

Dusty Velvet: Here I co-o-ome, boys! Y’all want a little piece of Dusty?

[ the Emcee lifts dusty up and holds her out like a battering ram ]

[ the buddies shake theirs head no as Dusty is brought towards them ]

[ the Emcee shoves Dusty into Andy’s face, as he screams in horror at Dusty’s struggle to lick her tongue across his cheek ]

[ the Emcee then drops Dusty into Bruce’s lap and begins to bounce her up and down for his lap dance; Bruce also screams in horror ]

Bruce: Don’t! Don’t! Don’t! Don’t!

[ finally, the Emcee stops bouncing Dusty on Bruce’s knee and just leaves her seated there as he returns to the stage ]

Emcee: Oh! That was a freakin’ workout! [ he catches his breath ] That was a smokin’ HOT babe! Dusty Velvet, everyone!

[ Andy cowers in fear as Dusty lays drooping across Bruce’s lap ]

Dusty Velvet: Hey! Hey, big fella! Could you raise up my arm and put my hand in a fist, honey?

[ Bruce balls her hand into a fist ]

Dusty Velvet: Yeah! Punch it up!

[ Bruce raises her arm in the air ]

Dusty Velvet: Dusty’s back! Whoo-hoo!

[ fade ]
